THE ROLE

The Senior PPC Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing PPC/SEM advertising campaigns with a specific focus on reporting and measurement. This role will involve developing testing strategies, conducting experiments, and interpreting data to drive data-driven insights and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in testing methodologies, and the ability to leverage insights to refine PPC strategies effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and execute testing strategies to optimize PPC campaign performance, including ad creatives, landing pages, targeting options, and bidding strategies.
  • Design and implement A/B tests, multivariate tests, causal impact, and other experimental methodologies to assess the impact of changes on key performance metrics.
  • Monitor test performance, analyze results, and derive actionable insights to drive optimization recommendations and inform future testing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of testing processes, methodologies, and results to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and scalability within testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • In-depth analysis of large datasets, extracting insights for optimizing campaigns. 
  • Develop custom scripts to automate data analysis, enhancing testing efficiency and informing actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain custom tools and dashboards to automate and streamline PPC campaign management, reporting, and performance analysis.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced in digital marketing analytics
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Ads
  • Experience in interpreting complex data sets and providing actionable insights to optimize PPC campaigns.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and provide recommendations for optimizing campaign strategies.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for analyzing marketing data.It would be an added advantage if the candidate can run Google Big Query / Python scripts, and has experience with predictive analytics and modeling techniques
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with PPC Managers, Marketing Managers and other teams to align data analysis with the channel and company’s goals.
