Job Description:

The Senior Power Platform Engineer 2 role works within our agile/scrum Product Engineering team to contribute to major engineering initiatives.  This role is leading initiatives they often establish with limited guidance to the definition of done, working with immediate peers, and communicating on a team-wide level.

​​​​​​​Responsibilities: 

  • Applying current and learning new technical skills and understanding required to complete often technically more difficult tasks to the definition of done.
  • Conducts and facilitates code reviews at times ensuring coding standards are being met.
  • Writes technical documentation for application development.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of all the applications and code worked on, even code not written by the individual.
  • Conducts Proof-of-Concepts for new solutions and/or technologies when asked and provides pro/con inputs to the team for decision making.
  • Identifies, owns, and ensures implementation of work process improvement concepts.

Qualifications/Requirements:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Information Systems or engineering fields, MCA, or equivalent experience.  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • 5 – 8+ years of relevant experience.  
  • Understanding of object-orient programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.  
  • 3+ years of experience with C#, HTML, CSS, JS / jQuery.  
  • Experience with model-driven Power Apps customizations with advanced configurations.  
  • Experience with Power Platform development via Plugins / Workflows / Actions concepts.  
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and / or Power BI reporting concepts.  
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse Product Modules (Sales/Marketing/Service/Field Service).  
  • Understanding of Power Apps Solution Management concepts.  
  • Understanding of Power Apps Security Management Concepts (security, roles, privilege, teams, access team, field level security).  
  • Experience with data migration (SSIS packages using Kingsway, Power Platform Data Import Wizard, Microsoft Fabric, or custom console app).  
  • Excellent Debugging Skills.
  • Experience working with Power Automate (MS Flow).  
  • Experience working with MS Portal / Power Portal / Power Pages.  
  • Experience with using Azure services such as Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, API Manager, and Azure App Services.  
  • 3+ years of experience working and delivering in Agile.  
  • Experience leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for work item management, as well as Git for version control.  
  • Experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar, a plus.  
  • Experience with CI/CD automation for automated solution deployment, a plus.
  • VS Unit testing, a plus.  
  • Technology certifications, a plus.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $99,500.00 - $223,500.00 per year.
