Job Description:
MPS is seeking a Power Module Assembly Engineer to provide power module package/assembly total solution; include but not limited to module design review, assembly process development, DFA/TRA , driving Sub-con NPD&NPI and MP continues improvement, Sub-con management/performance review for our business in South Korea.
Ideal candidate will be based in South Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Power module process design rule and roadmap development, new material/Tech survey and introduction.
- Based process design rule review the module design manufacturability and assure them to meet the process design rules/machine capability/high quality/low cost.
- DFA/TRA review of power module designs.
- Work with design team, Sub-con, material vendor to develop and qualify new materials and new assembly processes.
- Coordinate with internal team to identify the module package related issues, addresses the root cause and find the solution.
- Sub-conmanagement including NPI/MP continues improvement/capacity expansion/on-time delivery/cost down plan.
- Sum up the experience of module package design, process design rule, lesson learnt,BKM.
Requirements:
- Hands on experiences on PCBA/OSAT,PCB/Sub design,process development/MP continues improvement/quality management.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, or PCB Designer Standard, CAM350 or Cadence software.
- Good knowledge of SMT,FC, Underfill, Mold,laser cutting,strip grinding and PCB fabrication.
- Bachelor degree or above and more than 5 years of relevant work experience
- Native Korean speaker. English and Chinese proficiency is preferred.
