Position Summary
We are looking for a highly
experienced Senior Power BI Developer who can lead the design and delivery of
customer-specific dashboards and business intelligence solutions. The ideal
candidate should have strong technical expertise in Power BI, excellent stakeholder
management skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements
into meaningful analytics and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business
stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze,
and understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain
interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations tailored
to customer-specific business needs.
- Work independently with senior
business leaders to clarify complex requirements and recommend the most
effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Translate business requirements
into scalable, high-performing Power BI solutions using best practices.
- Develop and optimize complex DAX
measures, Power Query transformations, and data models.
- Integrate data from multiple
sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
- Lead customer discussions, conduct
requirement workshops, provide solution demonstrations, and manage
stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues,
optimize dashboard performance, and continuously improve existing
solutions.
- Ensure governance, security, and
best practices are followed for Power BI development and deployment.
- Mentor junior Power BI developers
and provide technical guidance when required.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of
experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 4 years of hands-on
experience in Power BI.
- Strong
expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and
data modeling.
- Advanced
knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases and data
warehouses.
- Experience
integrating data from multiple enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and
cloud platforms.
- Strong
understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best
practices.
- Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex
business scenarios.
- Proven
experience working directly with customers, business stakeholders, and
senior leadership.
- Strong
communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience
working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or Databricks would be an added
advantage.
