We are looking for a Poultry Researcher with expertise in layers to join our global R&D team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative nutritional solutions that improve animal performance, welfare, and production efficiency while supporting the transition towards more sustainable poultry production systems.
What You'll Do
As a Poultry Researcher, you will play a key role in generating scientific insights and transforming them into practical, value-driven solutions for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, leading, and managing multidisciplinary poultry research projects, from literature review and protocol development to data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Driving research initiatives focused on poultry nutrition, gut health, performance, welfare, and sustainable production.
Translating scientific discoveries into commercial products and solutions that create value for customers.
Developing and implementing innovative research methodologies and supporting the development of research technicians.
Collaborating closely with commercial, technical, and scientific teams to generate new research ideas and opportunities.
Presenting research findings internally and externally at scientific conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings.
Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with universities, research institutes, and industry organizations.
Contributing to cross-functional and international project teams within a matrix organization.
What You'll Bring
PhD in Poultry Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
About 10 years of experience in nutrition research in one or more of the following areas: poultry, feed formulation, feed additives, gut health, microbiology...
Experience managing research projects and translating scientific knowledge into practical applications.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Good understanding of the poultry industry and current market challenges.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
