About the team and the role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with a confirmed AI-First abilities to join our Monetization and Loyalty team, driving critical company business growth. As a key member of this team, you will lead initiatives across our evolving retention ecosystem, with a specialized focus on building out eBay’s digital wallet, loyalty programs, and rewards platforms. You will unlock deep engagement and revenue opportunities across key categories and regions by creating compelling, high-value experiences for our buyers and sellers.

This includes implementing efficient monetization and loyalty strategies and working closely with core engineering, design leads, business partners, and multiple cross-functional teams across eBay. This individual contributor role is encouraged to drive the execution of multiple complex product initiatives in a matrix organization.

What you will accomplish:

  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy for eBay's wallet, rewards, and loyalty platforms by deeply understanding user needs, business goals, market trends, and competition. Based on this, prioritize features and create a roadmap.

  • Architect and pilot complex customer loyalty structures and digital wallet capabilities, including targeted buyer-side rewards and context-aware seller offerings (e.g., event-driven or category-specific incentives) to drive retention and capture timely revenue opportunities.

  • Lead the transition of the platform into an AI-first engine, employing machine learning to personalize rewards, optimize loyalty incentives, and provide seamless, real-time wallet experiences to our diverse customer base.

  • Translate product strategy into clear, detailed, and actionable product requirements.

  • Deliver the roadmap on time, monitor timelines and progress, and adapt plans based on feedback and data.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks while optimizing the platform to safeguard the billions in GMV that flow through our monetization and wallet systems.

  • Measure product critical metrics (e.g., repeat purchase rate, wallet adoption, loyalty program engagement) and make data-driven decisions to improve the product experience and align with business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, research, analytics, marketing, operations, and business units to successfully deliver the roadmap and encourage user adoption of shipped features.

  • Regularly report on important measures and address performance issues and risks to work towards the successful achievement of goals.

  • Drive executions with a focus on quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years as a technical product manager, with significant time and success in large-scale platforms. 2 years of experience in / related to e-commerce. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred.

  • Deep expertise in building and scaling loyalty programs, digital wallets, fintech products, or monetization platforms.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation, product growth, and delivering high-quality customer experiences with a customer-centric and data-driven approach. Ability to understand user needs and find simple and creative ways to solve them.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating highly complex cross-functional projects end-to-end. Ability to influence and drive decisions in ambiguous situations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to forecast and measure test performance, and monitor product health metrics. Proficiency in basic data analysis using tools.
