Do you enjoy building systems together with enthusiastic team members who handle Hardware and Controls in an efficient way? Are you interested in tooling and supporting global teams in making the right design decisions when standard products do not fully meet customer requirements? Then apply now as a Controls Project Engineer in our Airports Engineering team, supporting projects on a global scale!
About the team
Within Engineering, you are the colleague responsible for making engineering easier through standardized products, processes, and smart tooling. Together with Technology and Engineering teams, you advise and support multiple projects where deviations from standard products are required to meet customer needs. You ensure these solutions are made available in our standard generation tooling.
Based on project experiences and products from Technology, you translate project requirements into a multidisciplinary decomposition and implement the required functionality in the project library and tooling. You take ownership of the developments carried out and support on-site commissioning activities and final testing.
We expect you to focus on project requirements as well as cost of execution and serviceability. In addition, you advise and support project teams in setting up engineering environments to ensure systems are delivered in a controlled manner, with the right quality standards and ready for handover to Service teams. For this, Vanderlande uses Atlassian and Polarion tooling.
