The Role
Lead development of high-performance playable ads using web graphics technologies. Build reusable frameworks, optimize assets and performance, mentor engineers, run code reviews, and collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to deliver polished 45-second interactive experiences.
Summary Generated by Built In

The best playable ads we've shipped share one trait: they feel like a game, not an ad.

That distinction matters. It's the difference between a user tapping "skip" and a user tapping "download." And it requires an engineer who understands both sides — the technical constraints of a 5 MB web build and the game design instincts that make a 45-second experience feel worth finishing. At Wildlife's Playables Team, you'll have both the freedom and the responsibility to bring that craft to every project. You'll work closely with Creative Directors and artists, lead technical improvements to our production pipeline, and develop the engineers around you — not as a secondary task, but as part of how you define your impact here. Our stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, PixiJS/ThreeJS, WebGL/WebGPU.
