With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

• Own and support the daily operation, performance, and availability of key B2C platforms, ensuring swift triage and response to incidents.

• Apply deep business context to prioritise engineering decisions that deliver measurable value.

• Design and implement secure, compliant, and scalable engineering solutions with documentation that supports quality and alignment.

• Lead estimation and delivery of development efforts with your squad, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and risk-managed proactively.

• Champion quality through testing, validation, and engagement with end users.

• Mentor others and uplift engineering capability across the wider team through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

• Proven experience supporting and evolving enterprise-scale applications within a secure and regulated environment.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, application architecture, and system design best practices.

• Experience in delivering solutions with an agile squad, balancing business needs with engineering rigour.

• A proactive approach to risk identification, security audits, and business continuity strategies.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills. You thrive in cross-functional environments and can translate technical outcomes into business value.

• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement — you actively seek out ways to reduce waste and uplift systems and practices.
