The Role
We are seeking a T-Shaped Platform Engineer with expertise in a variety of technologies, including Windows .NET, SQL Server, RedHat Linux, Oracle, Openshift, and Kubernetes with a big passion for scripting, automation and monitoring. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to work with emerging technologies, and experienced in similar environments, preferably within the financial sector. You should be comfortable working with Agile, Lean, and Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain a highly available platform hosting critical applications.
- Support crucial financial and credit risk processes with a zero error tolerance attitude.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Ensure the platform meets high standards of performance and reliability.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate processes and write Helm charts for container deployments.
- Understand IT Risk and implement measures to keep the organization reliable, secure and safe.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows .NET, SQL Server, RedHat Linux, Oracle, Openshift, and Kubernetes.
- Experienced with webservers like IIS and Tomcat
- Experienced with implementing observability practices using tools like Prometheus, ELK, DataDog and Grafana
- DevOps in scripting using PowerShell, Bash, Yaml and Ansible
- Experience in Agile, Lean, and Scrum frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and environments.
