Let’s talk about What You’ll Be Doing

As a Platform Software Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of developer empathy and engineering excellence. You'll collaborate with passionate engineers, visionary architects, and product leaders to build platform solutions that scale globally.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Championing developer-first thinking – you’ve been in their shoes, and you build with them in mind.

• Building reliable, elegant, and scalable systems – you know the details and the big picture.

• Architecting, implementing, and delivering platform components that delight developers and accelerate innovation.

• Working across teams to drive consensus, clarity, and excitement around our platform vision.

• Sharing your ideas, mentoring peers, and being a trusted voice in technical and strategic conversations.

Let’s talk about What You Bring

• A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience – you’ve shipped code and know what great looks like.

• Polyglot skills – fluency in Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Go or similar.

• Proven experience with cloud-native development in AWS: Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and beyond.

• Expertise in building scalable, observable, secure systems – and the scars to prove it.

• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, Big-O, and memory/runtime trade-offs.

• DevOps-friendly mindset: GitHub or Bitbucket workflows, CI/CD, quality gates, and strong testing culture.

• Bonus: 3+ years working with observability platforms like Datadog – and talking to customers directly about it.
