Job Description

You will be joining the IT Platform Automation team, whose role is to work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Your expertise will guide the organization towards a more agile and responsive IT environment.

As a part of this team you will evaluate and implement scalable and secure automation frameworks and solutions to meet organizational needs.

You will help build the Self-Service IT, where stakeholders interface with cloud consoles and leverage hybrid cloud services to interact with the internal cloud platform.

This role requires a deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, automation platforms, cloud technologies and operational paradigms. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and solid experience in both software development and infrastructure/middleware management.

Responsibilities

• Build & maintain the Kubernetes-based internal cloud platform and continuous delivery pipeline.
• Develop and maintain the internal developer platform with Inventory, APIs, CLIs, and config-as-data, offering self-service capabilities.
• Automate and standardize platform and IT processes to reduce manual toil and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field involving programming (e.g., physics, mathematics), or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including extensions such as ArgoCD, Istio, and 3rd-party operators in general.
• Experience with GitOps, IaaS and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Github Actions, etc.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Typescript. Knowledge of Java, Rust or Go would be appreciated.
• A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.

Preferred 

• Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, procedures, operational protocols and incident response.
• Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the IT technology space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French is an asset.
