We are a group of specialist engineers in charge of delivering complex for purpose in a highly complex, geographically dispersed solutions for the Global Markets Foreign Exchange (FX) business by ensuring quality for the WallStreet Trading platform. We are a highly agile team and ensures that solutions adhere to enterprise standards.

 

We’re interested in hearing from people who

  • Have solid hands on experience working in Investment banking and Trading application

  • Are knowledgeable writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards

  • Have deep understanding of quality attributes in SDLC and quality practices

  • Are passionate about designing, developing, testing and deploying high quality software solutions

  • Pride themselves in executing state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes in solving core business objectives, minimising risks and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language

  • Are knowledgeable in identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods

  • Constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex problems

  • Are familiar with modern software engineering methodologies (Design Thinking, Agile, Lean, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, UX)

  • Are constantly collaborating with cross-functional teams whilst providing support and guidance to team members

 

Tech Skills

 

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

  • Expertise in building test automation frameworks - SmartBear or UFT preferred

  • Server-side scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting

  • PL/SQL Skills and Unix/Linux scripting

  • Performance testing using JMeter preferred

  • CI/CD implementation using Teamcity & Octopus
