The Opportunity
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be leading the development, design, and execution of technical design and deployment of products within a complex product-focused organization. The position requires managing interdependent product implementations, coordinating across various disciplines, and collaborating with divers set of technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also focuses on ensuring product security, interpreting end-of-life components, and driving future state progress against a product portfolio. Additionally, the engineer will partner with peers to improve service processes, user experiences, and application optimization aligned with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Utilize various technologies, patterns, and design methods along with modern scripted deployment techniques to influence product development and enhancements.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of complex systems and products to quickly deliver value while maintaining a forward-looking technology base.
  • Incorporate user, UX/usability, and operational feedback into technical product design, adjustments, and implementation.
  • Use persuasion and negotiation skills to manage complex decisions with projects and other stakeholder groups.
  • Share advanced tooling and techniques with other technical organizations and contribute to developmental groups to enhance business solutions.
  • Act as a technical SME of the product team, providing technical design, implementation, and deployment artifacts through iterative product delivery.
  • Suggest new products and technologies based on a deep understanding of industry trends, business solutions, and strategic plans.
  • Work independently and with team members to solve complex and non-routine technology problems.
  • Provide expertise to peers and product managers to address business needs.


Skills and Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in developing software.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in diverse set of mobile/web technologies (.NET, React, Angular and similar).
  • Proven ability to architect scalable and robust solutions using mobile/web technologies ((.NET, React, Angular and similar). Strong understanding of architectural principles, data modeling, and system integration patterns. Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL Server), scripted deployments and web services.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Native (AWS) development is a plus.
  • Experience in leading highly performant tech teams, with demonstrated skills in guiding and mentoring development teams, setting standards, and conducting code reviews.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring cross-functional and cross-company (including externals) development teams. Ability to provide technical guidance, set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Adept at analyzing complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. Proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting mobile/web applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication is a must.

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3850 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
