Where would you fit?
On the Platform Operations team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale unique to x15 ventures, while using your expertise in coding, communication, operations and risk.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer in our Platform Operations team with knowledge of automating Azure Cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code with a DevOps mindset.
Day to day you will:

Be primarily responsible for designing and developing inhouse Azure IaC platform stack.

Help our ventures implement and build on Azure platform using above stack.

Where needed, you should be able to work with AWS cloud, application code and developing proof of concepts.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting.

Optimise cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability.

Get a chance to apply and promote best patterns and practices.
Are you a perfect match?
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:

3-5 years’ experience with deploying and running applications on Azure. AWS experience is a plus.

Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC): using Bicep and/or Terraform.

Experience with cloud well architected frameworks.
-
Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security architecture.
-
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
-
Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

Strong skills and experience in at least one modern programming language preferably JavaScript/Typescript
-
Relevant Cloud certifications will be considered.
