Redefine the future of live entertainment tech

Welcome to vivenu, the global leader in event ticketing tech and one of the world’s fastest-growing live entertainment tech firms. We are transforming event ticketing for global leaders like the Grammys, the Golden Globes, Stanford University and the Hockenheimring turning what was once a simple transaction into a strategic business advantage. Backed by over $65 million in funding, our platform empowers event organizers to own their brand experience, unlock deep data insights, and seamlessly integrate ticketing into their digital infrastructure.

With six offices worldwide and growing, we deliver a customizable, intuitive solution and industry-leading support that simplify even the most complex ticketing challenges – helping organizers deliver exceptional experiences and drive real growth.

Join us and build the future of live entertainment.

With over 10 million end users and usage quadrupling annually, our infrastructure now handles over 1 billion requests per month — and counting. Our API-first platform solves complex system challenges at scale — delivering performance, flexibility, and reliability for the world’s leading live entertainment brands.

As a Senior Platform Engineer (d/f/m) your responsibilities will include:

  • designing, building, and operating scalable infrastructure and tools to support over 1 billion monthly requests, ensuring performance, availability, and resilience
  • help with configuration, unblocking the occasional stuck deployment and enable teams to manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling across a highly dynamic environment
  • collaborating closely with engineering teams and technical leadership to improve reliability, system performance, and deployment velocity
  • continuously monitoring, testing, and improving our systems to meet fast-growing operational demands, with a focus on automation and observability
  • contributing to infrastructure design decisions and building reusable, modular infrastructure components using Terraform
  • actively sharing knowledge, improving engineering practices, and elevating the team’s engineering culture
  • a healthy amount of skepticism for LLM generated code and solutions. We all use those tools daily, but don’t ship blindly.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering, Platform Engineering or SRE in high-scale production environments.
  • proven expertise in cloud-based systems (ideally GCP). Confidence in scaling infrastructure for high-traffic services.
  • past experience of breaking and fixing Terraform state files without anyone noticing.
  • ability to write code (Go and/or Typescript but any modern language will be fine) but mostly read and quickly comprehend different code databases.
  • a collaborative and proactive mindset, with a strong interest in sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and continuously learning
  • the desire to thrive in environments that balance high technical standards with pragmatic decision-making.
  •
    Nice-to-Have:
  • Kubernetes expertise, knowing how to run, secure, scale, and debug workloads in real-world scenarios
  • deep knowledge in system performance and resilience engineering
  • seen Terraform evolve over time: Experienced not only green fields, but organically grown very actively changing stacks.
  •
    Bonus points:
  • experience managing rollouts of custom software over global infrastructure, orchestration of multi-tiered, canary or staggered deployments.
  • actual in-deep Go or Typescript coding experience
