Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud ControlsLocation: Bangalore-Manyata Tech ParkBusiness & Team: CTO- Cloud IntegrationImpact &contribution: Expected to work in hybrid squad across Australia and India. You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met. If you have a history of building a culture of empowerment and know what it takes to be a force multiplier within a large organization then you’re the kind of person, we are looking for.Roles & responsibilities:As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will help the Cloud Controls team to define and automate Cloud Risk reporting to help accelerate Cloud migrations. You will solve problems, design, implement and maintain solutions in a DevOps environment.Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensure the platform is running24/7 and respond to incidents as needed.
- Design and build all aspects of an enterprise platform, e.g. tooling, CI/CD, Security, Observability.
- Coach other engineers to uplift the engineering quality and velocity.
- Share engineering knowledge through presentation, blogs, videos with the broader engineering community.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and team to create relevant engineering roadmaps.
Essential skills:
- Minimum experience is 8 years
- Have very good system design/architecture knowledge.
- Have very good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have a growth mindset and can drive continuous improvements.
- Possesses technical hands-on experience in AWS.
- Have experience in AWS container/serverless solution design and architecture, more specifically, Web application with DB.
- Highly proficient with various scripting/programming languages such as Python, Typescript, Nodejs
- Highly proficient with versioning systems and CI/CD tools like; GitHub Github Action, Artifactory, ArgoCD.
- Highly proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like; AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK
- Have a very good understanding of API development and integrations, e.g. using AWS SDK, GraphQL, Eventing with Kafka...
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and ReactJS
- AWS certifications (desirable)
- Have experience with ServiceNow API and/or Tableau API (desirable)
- Familiar with Data and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline management
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
