The anticipated salary range for this position is $81,270.00 - $150,930.00 USD Annual. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Job Summary

This role will provide process, technical and project leadership for the Lexington Mill in support of the product supply organization Halyard Health. Responsibilities include technology development and maintenance, project results control, people direction and development. This individual should be a recognized process technical expert, possess high standards of professional performance, display vision and demonstrate both personal and organizational sensitivity. The role will communicate directly and report to the Mill Sr. Engineering Manager. This role is responsible for the process strategy, continuous improvement for all function areas. Continuous Improvement and process improvement will be the main function executed. Responsible for direction for base machines and receives direction in the form of broad mill and project objectives. This role is onsite and will require attendance at the Mill location in Lexington, North Carolina (Monday-Friday).

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Nonwovens SpunMelt Technology or Nonwoven Fabrics Manufacturing , highly preferred
  • Works with continuous improvement for all functional areas of maintenance, operations, process and quality.
  • Has managed in Manufactuing or Mill environment
  •   Provides leadership for the process issues in the mill and collaborates with a cross functional team to identify, prioritize and correct areas that could impact business results.
  • Manages self and/or team in accordance with the One Halyard Behaviors. Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.
  • Manages scope and mitigates risk across the facility. Effectively achieves results that meet business and individual objectives.
  • Provides technical expertise in the design, development, and construction of production processes and equipment.
  • Prepares and manages budgets and schedules related to projects. Completes all work in a safe manner consistent with Halyard safety & quality protocols.
  • Manages process specifications used by external partners (i.e. Engineering Service Providers, Equipment vendors, etc.) Is flexible on work hours and travel required to support problems and technology development.

Education and Skills Required

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree or advanced degree in process engineering or related major scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience leading capital projects, leading people and collaborating across functional boundaries
  • Experience working with Global Teams.
  • Manufacturing experience in a plant assignment.
  • Standing, walking and light labor required
  • Local candidates only. This role is onsite and will require attendance at the Mill location in Lexington, North Carolina (Monday-Friday).
