Position Summary:

This position ensures uninterrupted production by developing material plans aligned with demand forecasts and production schedules, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, identifying and resolving material shortages, and adjusting planning parameters such as safety stock, lead times, and replenishment policies. This individual will collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to address supply constraints, support capacity and S&OP discussions, and drive overall operational efficiency and on‑time delivery performance.

This position will be based out of our Dayton, MN facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, plan & improve the master production schedule
  • Improve supplier forecast schedules for critical components
  • Develop ordering policies, safety stock, and replenishment parameters
  • Identify and mitigate supply shortages threatening the production line
  • Manage Inventory levels and determine strategic buys for key components

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in supply chain or related field
  • 5+ years in a materials or planning role
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proven experience in process development

Preferred:

  • APICS / ASCM CPIM / ISM CPSM
  • Experience within a large manufacturing environment
  • Production & inventory planning expertise
  • Process development in a manufacturing environment
  • Supply chain risk mitigation expertise
  • Inventory management strategy
