Job DescriptionBESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Qld Construction team. This is a great opportunity to join our collaborative team working across tenders and project delivery.
This role will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining tender and project programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
- Working with pre-contracts and delivery teams to prepare methodologies, bids, and submissions.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and reporting status updates with remedial actions.
- Creating and maintaining records to support contractual obligations, including extension of time claims.
- Driving innovation through the adoption of new planning methods, software, and industry best practice.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting delivery of large building projects with accurate and effective construction programmes.
- Strong knowledge of commercial requirements and processes in tendering and project delivery.
- Proven ability to manage complex tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships.
- A high level of professionalism, initiative, and sound judgement in decision-making.
