The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil (Pipeline) Engineer to join our International Pipeline Team and be located in our Bangkok, Thailand office. This has around 120 staff working across a range of professional services.
You will play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure projects across Australia, New Zealand and the South-Pacific. This will include pipeline, hydraulic structure, pump station, service reservoir and water facility packages.
You will bring extensive experience in pipeline design and a strong understanding of the 3D civil design software ‘AutoCAD Civil 3D’ to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions across a range of water infrastructure and conveyance projects. You will use your expertise to support project delivery and the development of others.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership on projects, guiding design development, reviewing and directing the work of junior and intermediate engineers and making sure the outputs meet quality, safety and design standards. You will play a key role in upskilling the team through mentoring, knowledge sharing and championing technical excellence.
Along this journey, you will have opportunities for continued professional growth and development, learning from Beca’s water specialists and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. As well as developing your technical civil engineering skills, you will have the opportunity to build your project delivery, commercial, and team related skills. Your ability to build relationships will be important, as you will be working across diverse project teams, with others based in different Beca offices.
