We are seeking a skilled Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building and enhancing our PHP-based lending and banking solutions, driving innovation and delivering high-quality, scalable systems that shape the future of financial services.

Your focus:

• Build new features for our in-house PHP-based lending and banking platforms.
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
• Work with a team of experienced developers to deliver clean, scalable code.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure robust solutions.
• Implement best design and coding practices, contributing bold ideas to our projects.
  

Required skills & qualifications:

Must-to-have:

• 3+ years of programming experience, with at least 1 year on large-scale projects.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, including experience with PHP 8.
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with the agile software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Microservices architecture, event sourcing, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of tools like RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch.
• Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• Hands-on experience with development tools: PHPStorm, GitHub, Bamboo, or JIRA.
• Practical knowledge of PHP Unit, Codeception, or similar testing frameworks.

The salary range is 3000 - 4000 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
