- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or custom MVC frameworks).
- Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Implement and maintain unit tests using tools like PHPUnit to ensure back-end code quality.
- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and product managers within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions to support continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and bugs.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in PHP development, including strong experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Deep knowledge of WordPress development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, MySQL, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development using tools like PHPUnit.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with React.js in building front-end components and integrating APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized development workflows.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL for API design and integration.
- Understanding of modern JavaScript tools like Webpack, Babel, and Redux.
