About the team:

The Research Partnership is a leading global provider of healthcare market research. The Research Partnership team delivers custom longitudinal brand tracking for large pharmaceutical-sector clients, with client facing dashboards and custom reporting deliverables.

Your primary role:

We are looking for a senior Fullstack PHP Developer freelance contractor to assist an experienced development team to maintain and extend our Bespoke Online Market Tracking Platform. The platform includes client facing dashboards, database management warehouse, data collection portal, and administration portal.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic senior Fullstack PHP Developer to join our team to provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades as well as assisting where relevant on developing the front-end web portal and the back-end database infrastructure.

About You…

The successful candidate must have good software development skills in the core technologies of our platform, with at least eight years commercial development experience, as well as excellent team facing communication skills, and an intuitive approach to bespoke development.

Your skills and experience:

We are looking for a motivated individual to contribute to an Enterprise software development environment, and keen to work as part of an experienced, flexible, and intuitive development team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with developing software in a commercial team environment, and be looking to further extend and develop their skills. The suitable candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology (or a related field)
• 8 years’ experience with PHP, PostgreSQL or any relational database, and Front-end and back-end technology experience in a commercial environment
• Innovative and pragmatic with the ability to find solutions to problems
• Motivated to extend and develop their skills into an Enterprise bespoke environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English

Core Technical/Development Skills:

• PHP 7.2+ (minimum 8 years commercial experience)
• PostgreSQL (minimum 8 years commercial experience)
• Javascript;
• AWS, Docker;
• PHPUnit and tests experience;
• Experience with code organization, commenting, and documentation
• Any modern MVC frameworks
• Dashboard development experience would be beneficial.
