Leidos has an immediate need for an Exploitation Specialist/Photogrammetrist Senior to support our customer in St. Louis Missouri.
This work requires contractor with experience in the evaluation, verification and validation of sensors and geolocation systems. Contractor should be able to perform statistical analysis on new and current sensors using photogrammetrically-sound mathematical methods (statistical analysis).
Duties:
Provide the Precise Imagery Division (SFNP) with Senior-level sensor evaluation support. The contractor shall leverage expertise in stereo imagery to ensure final precise imagery products meet customer requirements. They help identify and adapt methods to Increase the relative and absolute positioning accuracy of imagery from sensors to support mono- and stereo-exploitation. The contractor will evaluate emerging satellite technologies to improve products, practices, and processes.
Use photogrammetric principles to conduct sensor evaluation for multiple image sources.
Review image assessment, point selection, mensuration, triangulation, orthorectification, and processing to produce standard and non-standard image products.
Execute efforts to apply advanced techniques to measure, triangulate, and exploit precise imagery.
Consult in metric evaluation testing of new imagery sources to ensure integrity of the data.
Research, testing, and validation of image products across Directorates. Review and comment on current QMS documentation as needed towards an understanding of how processes and products are transforming for integration into a service-based architecture.
Execute data management tasks related to SFNP's modernization activities
Assist in drafting SOPs and documents related to the Division sensor evaluation program as an input to doctrine and policy initiatives.
Assist the Modernization Team in the automating of repetitive data management tasks.
Provide embedded GEOINT expertise to support five mission centers.
Further the knowledge, skills, and exploitation/ integration of the photogrammetric sciences across the NSG through evaluation of current and emerging sensors.
Contribute to a team that is developing mensuration strategies, determining of requirements, evaluating tools, and creation of customized methodologies to address a variety of photogrammetric problems.
Skills and Experience:
Required
5 plus years of demonstrated Geomatics experience or working supporting a DoD or IC Geomatics effort.
5 plus years of demonstrated Sensor Evaluation experience supporting a DoD or IC effort.
Advanced understanding of photogrammetric principles.
Desired
Demonstrated large group briefing/communication skills
STEM Degree, or Certification in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering-related discipline.
Advanced understanding of applied mathematical and statistical principles.

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
