What is this role about?
Bondora is seeking an analytical and data-driven Senior Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize Google and Bing Search campaigns. This role focuses on maximizing paid search ROI through strategic campaign management, continuous testing, and advanced automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging data insights to drive performance, directly impacting Bondora’s growth in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Search Campaigns: Lead and optimise Google and Bing Search campaigns across multiple markets, aligning with performance objectives and maximising ROAS.
- Performance Analysis and Automation: Analyse campaign data to identify trends, optimise bids and budgets, and apply advanced automation tools (e.g., Google Ads API/scripts) for streamlined management and reporting.
- Keyword and Audience Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing of bid strategies, ad copy, and landing pages to improve conversion rates.
- Conversion Tracking and Attribution: Implement and monitor conversion tracking and attribution models, ensuring data accuracy using Google Tag Manager and third-party tools.
- Work closely with tech and analytics teams to refine tagging, user tracking, and predictive modelling for enhanced performance insights.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly monitor and report campaign performance, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders and driving strategy adjustments.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and industry advancements, leveraging new tools and features to maximise campaign effectiveness.
What would ensure success in this role?
- Proven expertise in data analysis, ideally with a degree in Data Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Strong skills in interpreting and leveraging data insights to drive performance improvements are essential.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale Google Ads Search campaigns (budget €100k+ monthly); experience with Bing Search Ads is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of search advertising, keyword optimization, and conversion rate optimization through A/B testing.
- Skilled in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and advanced data tools (Excel, SQL).
- Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Google Ads API/scripts) and a strong focus on experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to extract insights from complex data and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in financial or lead generation sectors (in-house or agency) is an advantage.
