As the People Partner for India, you'll be the primary People partner for our India teams, with a strong focus on supporting our Operations organization, our largest team in India. You'll work closely with leaders to build high-performing teams, coach managers, navigate employee relations, and create an exceptional employee experience.

We're a lean and growing People team, so this role goes beyond traditional business partnering. You'll also own and support a broad range of People Operations and HR Generalist responsibilities across India, from onboarding and payroll coordination to policy implementation, compliance, employee engagement, and process improvements. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, wearing multiple hats, and building as you go, you'll thrive in this role.

• Partner with leaders to support organizational growth, team effectiveness, and employee experience.

• Coach managers on performance, employee development, engagement, and people-related challenges.

• Lead employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management with sound judgment and empathy.

• Drive initiatives to improve engagement, retention, and manager capability.

• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and organizational changes.

• Own and support core People Operations across India, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs and coordination, leave administration, policy implementation, compliance, HR documentation, employee lifecycle processes, and vendor coordination.

• Partner with Recruiting, Finance, Payroll, IT, and other teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.

• Lead People projects, improve processes, and take ownership of new initiatives as the company grows.

• 6+ years of HR experience across both HR Business Partnering and HR Generalist/People Operations responsibilities.

• Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex workplace matters.

• Experience supporting fast-paced, high-growth organizations.

• Solid understanding of Indian employment laws and HR best practices.

• Comfortable owning operational HR responsibilities, while also acting as a trusted advisor to leaders.

• A hands-on, ownership mindset, you enjoy solving problems, taking initiative, and getting things done without waiting to be asked.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.

• Startup or SaaS experience is a plus.

• Build and shape the People function in a fast-growing company.

• Partner directly with leaders while owning key People Operations across India.
