The US - HR Operations Specialist (Offshore - India) is responsible for providing second level support to employees and strategic consulting and support to Human Capital and internal business groups specifically concerning verification of employment, data corrections, manual entry of data as needed relating to acquisitions, error files, time and labor and other related issues and inquiries. The Specialist helps provide analysis of trends related to their specific job function which contributes to the development management decisions.
The Specialist will often interface with employees and specific members of the Human Capital organization across all of the Centers of Excellence (COE). The Specialist will also maintain relationships with vendor partners and assist with any concerns related to the vendor their area of expertise.
Positions in this function are responsible for design and operational plans to manage payroll processing, address strategic and tactical issues pertinent to delivery of Human Capital services. They develop, maintain and deliver tools and processes related to Payroll data, reporting, payroll tax and accounting, and contingent workforce information. Work does not usually require established procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare verification of employment letters and wage requests from various entities
- Partner with 3rd Party vendors to analyze and assist with leave of absence and unemployment related inquires
- Research and resolve complex issues while working directly with affected employees and contractors
- Develop communications to inform and update employees on their requests
- Process data entry and correction of data in Global Self Service PeopleSoft environment
- Ensure accuracy in Time and Labor processes as well as accuracy in data entry in PeopleSoft processes across the organization
- Partner with other departments to analyze and assist with accurate processing of data manual input, data corrections, data updates and related inquires
- Provide subject matter expertise and assist in the implementation of new internal processes and technology enhancements
- Assist in developing standardized tools, templates, and processes across the HR Operations team
- Basic, structured, standard approach to work
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
- Experience in similar Human Capital role (HR/Payroll Operations Specialist)
- Experience with US business with good understanding of USA policies and regulations
- Basic knowledge of HR Operations - USA end-to-end (HR HelpDesk, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Time and Labor, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
- Proven solid written and verbal communication (previous experience in contact center would be recommended)
