The People Analytics team at StackAdapt is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior People Data and Insights Analyst who thrives in the "gray area"—someone who can take messy, imperfect data and transform it into a clear narrative that shapes the future of our workforce.

This isn't just about building dashboards; it’s about being a strategic architect for our People & Culture team. You’ll be the bridge between raw talent data and executive-level decision-making, using everything from regression models to creating LLM using NLP to help us scale intelligently leveraging scalable AI driven solutions.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we’re open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Build and deploy end-to-end models to help us stay ahead of organizational trends and enhance our people programs, driving data driven decision making with our leaders.
  • Translate complex statistical outputs into compelling stories that drive action across StackAdapt.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows and data products (using dbt/Snowflake) that move us away from ad-hoc requests toward scalable self-service analytics and reporting.
  • Act as an internal analytics consultant by collaborating with People leaders and Technology owners (HRIS, LMS, Talent Management, ATS, etc.) to understand data structures, APIs, and export capabilities, defining the "why" behind their requests before building the "how"
  • Act as Data governance ensuring a high quality of compliance and governance structures with how we manage employee data.
  • Partner with the enterprise data office to bring People data into our data lake while ensuring data quality and adherence to data governance policies and standards.
  • Design and develop dimensional data models to optimize analytical reporting and dashboard performance including building and maintaining LLM and NLP models.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to enable rapid analytics and support businesses in identifying trends, patterns and insights to support strategic decision making.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Proven expertise in people analytics, workforce data science, or a related field within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines or databases (e.g., SQL, Python, dbt, or equivalent).
  • Prior working experience partnering within an HR/People team to deliver data-driven insights and executive-level reporting on People data.
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in people analytics and a commitment to responsible, ethical data use.
  • Collaborative, self-directed work style with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.
