We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our EMEA HR Team. This position will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Regional people plan and the coordination of people services to  a number of business functions across EMEA. The HR Business Partner will provide expert advice and coaching to key leaders to support their business objectives.

Working location: London or Dublin, Ireland - Okta operate a flexible Hybrid working policy 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop and implement strategic people plans to enable business success across areas such as talent management, talent development, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement
  • Provide advice and solutions to business leaders on all people aspects of their business from operational to strategic issues
  • Coach managers on day-to-day needs and the execution of key people processes 
  • Lead the talent management plan to ensure we futureproof our business with the right capabilities at both individual contributor and manager level 
  • Collaborate on the design and delivery of programs/policies with global Centres of Excellence to deliver effective solutions to the business.
  • Leverage data to track progress on priorities and proactively recommend solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Strong business acumen and systems thinking to translate business needs into innovative people plans
  • Trusted advisor to leaders with the ability to form strong relationships at various levels in the organisation
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills so can partner across different cultures 
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and delivering people programs and initiatives to enable business growth
  • Leverages data to develop insights and proposals to enhance organisational effectiveness 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and matrix structures 
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and changing environment and manage a mix of operational and strategic priorities 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a HR business partner, preferably in the technology sector
  • Experience working in a multi-country role with exposure to a variety of cultures across EMEA region would be an advantage
