ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior People Business Partner, you will act as a partner to key business leaders within the RnD organization including Talon.One’s CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and CPO (Chief Product Officer).
Talon.One is a Berlin based Tech company with global reach. Your contributions as an RnD Business Partner will have a direct impact on our ability to scale our Product. This is an opportunity to drive workforce strategies that will attract top talent, deepen engagement, and enhance overall performance, aligning People & Culture initiatives seamlessly with our business goals.
This is a full-time role based in Berlin, Germany.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
Be part of a global (and truly international) People & Culture team, comprising 11 members from 10 different countries. We actively support over 200 Taloners across EMEA, AMER and APAC. Our focus spans People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Workplace Management, and People Business Partnering, all aimed at sparking inspiration among candidates, employees, and alumni.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Be part of the People Business Partner team and the strategy, design and execution of People related solutions to be used across the organization
- Partner with our People & Culture functions to offer aligned People related solutions to the entire organization
- Be the People & Culture contact person for our employees and managers in the RnD team
- Coach RnD Leaders on all people-related matters covering the full employee life-cycle
- Advise and partner with RnD leaders to identify and execute the talent related needs that will enable our company goals achievement
- Participate actively in the strategy for headcount planning and organizational design within the RnD division
- Translate business needs into People & Culture programs, policies, solutions and processes
- Design and facilitate training to support business needs and empower RnD Leadership
- Be responsible for the success of the performance cycle
- Identify business challenges and implement human resource best practices
- Implement initiatives that drive and maintain a culture of high performance
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- At least 4 years of experience as HRBP in a fast-paced Tech environment
- Experience with organizational design and effectiveness, change/risk management, performance management and leadership coaching
- A background in working closely with software developers, product managers, and squad set-ups
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management frameworks, and the tools commonly used in tech environments.
- Understanding of People analytics to assess team performance, engagement, and retention rates within the RnD division
- Ability to adapt to change and learn fast
- Solid knowledge of German labor law
- Ability to prioritize and make the best use of limited resources
