Job Description:

Our dynamic global People team is based across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. We are focused on balancing the needs of our employees and the business by building strong relationships with employees and managers, partnering together to achieve business goals and create an exceptional employee experience.

We are looking for an experienced Senior People Advisor to join our friendly and collaborative HR team. Based in our Paris office, you'll support all people-related matters across our France, Italy and Spain regions, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our Paris office. Occasional travel to other offices within the region may be required.

What Will I Be Doing?

As a Senior People Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle and partnering with the business across Southern Europe. You'll provide practical, commercially focused HR guidance while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for approximately 125 employees across France, Italy and Spain.

  • Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders across the business.

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases.

  • Represent the business in France's employee representative body (CSE), preparing agendas and supporting documentation.

  • Work with external legal counsel on complex employment matters when required.

  • Respond to employee and manager queries through the HR ticketing system.

  • Review offer letters and employment contracts for new hires across the Southern Europe region.

  • Manage local employment obligations, including health insurance enrolment and occupational health requirements.

  • Prepare contract variations and employment documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Manage offboarding processes, conduct exit interviews and identify trends to support continuous improvement.

  • Support the review and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure local health and safety requirements are met.

  • Support payroll processes through monthly validation checks.

  • Monitor probation and performance review processes, proactively flagging any concerns.

  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems.

  • Coach managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practice.

  • Support regional and global People projects, communications and process improvement initiatives.

What Experience Do I Need?

We're looking for a proactive HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and operating in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisory, HR Business Partner or similar role with strong employee relations expertise.

  • Experience supporting employee representative bodies, works councils or similar consultation forums.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of the SYNTEC Collective Agreement.

  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.

  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices across France, Italy and Spain would be advantageous.

  • Experience using Workday, supporting multiple European countries or working within a multinational organisation would be beneficial.

  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or an equivalent professional qualification.
