Position / Assignment Purpose:
As a Senior PCB engineer, you will design and validate world class automotive wireless communication modules (2G/3G/4G/5G/WIFI and V2X) with a Senior Engineer and Hardware Manager.
Position / Assignment Summary:
As a PCB Engineer, you will own the PCB design for the modules and also related fixtures and dev.kit boards. The PCB engineer will be also responsible for the related documents like DFM, manufacturer documents, and the PCB library, design rules and process maintenance.
Senior PCB engineer will own and contribute a competive PCB technology and performance skill to enhance PCB design to reach a high quality and reliability level for automotive standard.
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work:
1. Projects PCB development activities management to support PM’s Project Management on technical release and schedule.
2. Follow Rolling PCB design process/guidelines to work on PCB physical layout, routing, and verification.Sr. engineer should be capable to design a high standard on layout routing line impedance, layer copper balance, cost control of design complexity.
3. Generate component library for hardware & other PCB designer.
4. Generate Gerber & other manufacturing documentations for factory.
5. Identify potential problems and propose suitable solutions.
6. DFM review with PCB vender and SMT factory.
7. Sr. engineer should have specific PCB design knowhow and skill to ensure design for reliability to fulfill AEC-Q104 quality standard along with supplier partner and other experts
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or above, major in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience in HDI PCB design of wireless products.
- Experience in Wireless high-frequency RF layout is preferred.
- Skillful in using EDA tools. Proficient in EDA tools: Mentor Graphic, DxDesigner, Cadence (Allegro),Auto CAD,CAM350.
- Good experience of solving ESD, EMI, signal integrity, power noise of high density and high frequency produce, familiar with simulation and signal integrity analysis.
- Good team work capability and high execution are required.
- Familiar with the PCB material/stack-up/fabricaion.
- Familiar with design for manufacture.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor or above, Electronics Engineering or wireless communication related background is preferred.
- Good English communication skill is must, and Chinese language capability is plus.
