At Salesloft, our Senior Corporate Accountant will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our corporate accounting and payroll functions across multiple countries, including the US, Mexico, the UK, Poland, India, and other potential markets. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment while further developing your skills in US GAAP accounting, international accounting, US and international payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you'll be responsible for various aspects of corporate accounting and end-to-end payroll administration, including US multi-state payroll, international payroll coordination, tax compliance, financial reporting, and general ledger activities.You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This includes processing domestic and global payroll cycles, preparing financial reports, overseeing specific accounting processes such as accounts payable, fixed assets, and accruals, and providing guidance to other team members. You will also be involved in liaising with external auditors, payroll vendors, and supporting internal controls.

THE TEAM:
Our Salesloft’s Accounting & Finance team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming accounting and finance professionals.
The Accounting and Finance team consists of results-oriented SaaS accounting professionals with strong analytical skills ensuring timely and accurate records in accordance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles. The accountants on our team share a few common traits: they are self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about redefining the Revenue Orchestration space and activating the authentic seller in all of us.
THE SKILL SET:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Comfortable working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities within a high-growth company
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to interact with various levels of management and build influential relationships with partners in the business
- Positive attitude with a high level of eagerness and aptitude to learn new technology and practices
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, with experience in NetSuite a plus
- Hands-on experience processing US multi-state payroll, including federal, state, and local tax filings (Forms 941, W-2, state equivalents)
- Experience coordinating or processing international payroll across multiple countries (e.g., UK, Mexico, Poland, India), including working with in-country payroll vendors or PEO providers
- Knowledge with US GAAP and international accounting principles
Familiarity with payroll compliance requirements, including garnishments, equity compensation taxation, and expatriate/shadow payroll concepts is a plus

Skills Required
- 8+ years overall experience with 5+ years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, accounting principles and ability to translate that to three-statement modeling
- Fluency with SaaS metrics and business models
- Direct experience working with R&D and/or G&A teams, including software and hosting cost envelopes
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with executive management
- Experience in high-growth companies and comfort working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities
- Independent, flexible problem-solver with ability to adapt as the business grows
- Advanced Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills (Excel/Sheets)
- Experience implementing corporate planning tools (Pigment)
