Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and execute multi-state payroll operations with precision and speed. 

• Architect and optimize payroll tax management, compliance, and reporting processes. 

• Tackle registrations for new states and jurisdictions as we expand. 

• Own labor statistics submissions and ensure we’re always ahead of regulatory requirements. 

• Champion the use of BambooHR payroll systems for seamless processing and reporting. 

• Manage the payroll support inbox, delivering timely, high-quality solutions to inquiries. 

• Design, document, and continuously improve payroll processes for scalability. 

• Partner with HR and Accounting to integrate payroll with broader business goals. 

• Safeguard confidentiality and data integrity in every payroll activity. 

• Provide expert support during audits and respond to payroll-related questions with confidence. 

• Set priorities and drive results in a dynamic, high-autonomy environment. 

 What You Bring 

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, including multi-state operations in high-growth organizations. 

• Mastery of payroll tax regulations and compliance across diverse jurisdictions. 

• Proven success in registering new states and scaling payroll processes. 

• Advanced proficiency in BambooHR payroll systems (highly preferred). 

• Impeccable attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. 

• Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment. 

• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit. 

• Unwavering integrity and commitment to confidentiality. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.
