Mollie is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Payroll Specialist to join our talented finance team based in Amsterdam.
What you will be doingResponsible for payroll across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and working closely with the HR team.
Setting up our payroll in new countries where Molllie has expanded
Benefits administration. We offer a range of benefits and you will need to make sure that all of these are up to date and processed through payroll accurately.
Managing the monthly payroll processes including salary data: analyzing, processing, checking data input and output, review payslips and corrections.
Answer questions from employees regarding payroll.
Review payroll GL accounts and provide journal entries to the Financial Reporting team.
Perform internal audits and/or support external wage tax audits when required.
Process improvements: Streamline payroll processes, reporting and systems.
7-10 years of previous experience in global payroll
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
Ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously
Ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing competing priorities
Experience with Papaya Global preferred but not required
Fluent in English.
