Job Summary

We are in the market for a Senior Payroll Specialist with excellent payroll administration skills, versatile ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global technology company. Payroll experience in jurisdictions of India required with China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Australia preferred. Opportunity for professional growth to manage payroll processes for APJ region, including people management.


What you will do

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of India payroll.
  • Handle statutory deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Income Tax (TDS), and other payroll-related deductions.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of payroll inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy of payroll processing.
  • Identify areas to improve payroll efficiencies.
  • Maintain SOP documentation.
  • Serve as liaison to payroll vendors.
  • Support payroll audits as required.
  • Providing support to the Payroll Manager and team.
  • Other duties and special tasks as required.


What you will have

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of solid end-to-end payroll processing experience (technology industry preferred).
  • Native or bi-lingual proficiency in English (essential).
  • Prior experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced payroll environment.
  • Self-motivated by opportunities to gain knowledge and improve processes.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion, able to work confidentially.


Nice to have

  • Knowledge of general payroll practices and revenue regulations for countries such as India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Bermuda, Japan and Australia
  • ADP Workforce Now and ADP Streamline Experience
  • Certified Payroll Processor
