Job Description
- Responsible for the creation and management of payroll for both headquarters and operations;
- Provision of personnel data, creation of personnel-relevant evaluations for management;
- Supporting social security and income tax audits as well as annual financial statements with the auditors;
- Implementation and management of payroll-related projects;
- Continuous optimization of payroll processes and tools through direct communication with internal and external stakeholders;
- Clarification and processing of issues relating to maternity protection, parental leave, garnishments, and company pension schemes as well as special SV cases;
- Creation of information, certification, and reporting obligations, e.g. for social security, tax office, and other authorities;
Contact person for employees and managers for payroll-related questions.
Qualifications
- A degree in accounting, payroll, or HR;
- More than 3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting; preferably in a fast-growing company;
- Profound knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law;
- Experience with German billing software (ideally SAP) is desirable;
- Independent way of working as well as reliability, sense of responsibility and high focus on service;
- Native-level written and spoken German knowledge, good written and spoken English knowledge.
