JOB SUMMARY 

The Business Performance and Strategy team is responsible for managing performance guarantees and any other performance-based payment arrangements. We track performance on guarantees and assess the appropriate areas for the business to deploy resources to meet client expectations and internal financial targets. Individuals in this role will be assigned to a slate of tier 1 clients and be responsible for overseeing performance clients. Additionally, the senior specialist may be assigned as the subject matter expert for performance processes that impact the entire department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand with great detail how we’re performing against client contracts, diagnose for performance barriers and develop action plans to meet performance goals
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to execute on performance action plans
  • Serve as expert on performance barriers impacting assigned clients
  • Collaborate with account management teams to support their conversations with clients
  • Coordinate with finance to communicate expected performance
  • Inform contract negotiations by coordinating with sales teams on performance feasibility

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum years of work experience:   5 years in health care field
  • Minimum level of education or education/experience:   Bachelors or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position is $76,000 to $82,000 per year. The actual base pay offered will consider candidate’s geographic location, job related knowledge, experience, and skill amongst other potential factors. There may be a bonus or commission, and/or a long-term incentive that will be provided as part of the compensation package, along with medical, financial and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
