Emmanuel Baptist Church is seeking a Spirit-led pastor who loves God, loves people, and faithfully teaches God’s Word. We desire a pastor whose life and ministry exemplify the biblical qualifications and character of 1 Timothy 3:1–12, demonstrating spiritual maturity, integrity, humility, faithfulness, and a servant’s heart. We seek a shepherd who will nurture spiritual growth, build relationships, equip believers for ministry, and lead our church in reaching our community, nation, and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our congregation values biblical preaching, genuine Christian fellowship, community outreach, children and youth ministries, and a strong sense of church family. We seek a pastor who will build upon these strengths while helping us move forward with vision, unity, and renewed ministry effectiveness.

Emmanuel Baptist Church is located in Roundup, Montana and is affiliated with Mission Northwest.

Biblical Preaching and Teaching

• Preach and teach the Bible faithfully, accurately, and practically.
  
• Provide Christ-centered teaching that helps people apply Scripture to everyday life.
  
• Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship among all age groups.
  
• Protect the church’s commitment to biblical truth.
  

Shepherding and Pastoral Care

• Develop meaningful relationships with members and regular attenders.
  
• Visit those who are sick, grieving, elderly, homebound, or struggling.
  
• Provide compassionate pastoral counseling and encouragement.
  
• Be approachable, accessible, and personally engaged with the congregation.
  

Leadership and Discipleship

• Equip members to discover and use their spiritual gifts.
  
• Encourage broader participation in ministry and leadership.
  
• Foster unity, healing, and healthy communication within the church.
  
• Mentor emerging leaders and disciples.
  

Outreach and Community Engagement

• Lead the church in reaching the lost locally and globally.
  
• Encourage evangelism and community service.
  
• Build positive relationships throughout Roundup and the surrounding area.
  
• Support ministries that meet practical and spiritual needs within the community.
  

Family, Children, and Youth Ministry

• Champion ministry to children, youth, and families.
  
• Support the development and growth of children’s and youth programs.
  
• Encourage the next generation toward spiritual maturity and service.

• Able to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
  
• A lifelong learner who pursues educational opportunities.
  
• Appreciates small-town and rural Montana life.

• Desires to become part of the church family and community.
  

• Total Pay Package: $55,000
  
• Retirement: $5,000
  
• The remaining portion of the package is negotiable between Salary, Housing Allowance, and other benefits.
