Build better healthcare together

Maple’s purpose is to meet the world's healthcare needs. We’re Canada's leading on-demand healthcare platform, connecting patients with Canadian-licensed doctors, nurse practitioners and specialists. Today, we’re proud that over 8 million patients and 7,000 businesses and government partners have access to same-day, proactive and ongoing care. We enable people to take control of their health and push the boundaries of what’s possible every day.

Bold minds. Big impact. A career at Maple is about making an impact. We empower bold thinking, surround you with an inspiring team and are driven by a motivating purpose. Here, you’ll do work that changes lives—including your own.

The role

We're looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to join our Product team and own the partnerships that extend what Maple can offer — from specialty care providers to clinical and technology partners.

In this role, you'll manage our existing portfolio of active partnerships and contracts, and build the pipeline of new partners that support our product and care roadmap. You'll work closely with Product, Clinical and Customer Support Operations (CCSO), and Business Development (BD) to bring in the right partners, negotiate deals, and oversee their integration into Maple's product and operations.

Your responsibilities

As the Senior Partnerships Manager, you will:

  • Own the day-to-day management of Maple's active partnerships — relationships, commercial terms, contract compliance, payments and performance — and be the main point of contact for our key partners.

  • Own contracting end-to-end for the portfolio, negotiating and managing partnership agreements.

  • Drive partnership workstreams for priority Product, Clinical, and BD initiatives — identifying, contracting, and coordinating the integration of new partners into Maple's product and operations, and acting as project manager for those integrations as needed.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new partnerships opportunities — triaging inbound interest, coordinating outreach and introductory conversations, and evaluating priority market segments to identify target companies worth pursuing.

  • Support the financial, strategic, and operational evaluation of target companies and prepare opportunity assessments so they're ready for executive review.

  • Represent Maple externally with senior executives of current and prospective partner companies, and partner internally with Maple’s executive leadership and cross-functional teams on diligence, launches and ongoing management.

What success looks like

In your first 90 days, you'll build a deep working knowledge of Maple's existing partnership portfolio — the relationships, commercial terms, integrations and performance history behind every active partner — so you can manage and monitor them with confidence. You'll get up to speed on Maple's business and strategy so you can accurately represent us to external audiences, and you'll take over inbound partnership conversations as the first point of contact.

Over your first 12–18 months, you'll be proactively managing the full partnership lifecycle — renewals, expansions, wind-downs and everything in between. You'll have led the launch of new, high-impact partners that support Product, CCSO or BD priorities, driving contracting, integration, launch coordination and post-launch monitoring. You'll maintain a healthy, regularly assessed pipeline of partnership opportunities across priority verticals, and contracts across the portfolio will be well-managed with minimal senior leadership involvement.

What you bring

  • 6–8+ years of experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or healthtech, with 3+ years directly owning strategic partnerships or partner operations.

  • Demonstrated track record of success operating in a product-driven organization, understanding how external partners plug into internal product roadmaps and business goals.

  • Executive-level presence with the confidence to represent Maple directly in meetings with external CEOs, Founders, and C-suite leaders.

  • High-empathy communicator with strong interpersonal instincts—able to build deep trust with partners, navigate tricky commercial conversations, and manage long-term relationships through friction.

  • Comfortable actively managing a portfolio of existing partners (monitoring contract performance, renewals, business payment compliance, and offboarding when needed).

  • Ability to evaluate new partnership opportunities, weigh trade-offs (strategic vs. operational vs. financial), and present clear, structured recommendations to leadership.

  • Proven ability to partner with internal stakeholders to drive the project management and execution of new partner integrations.

  • Play to your strengths. Finding the right fit goes both ways—so this section is yours to complete. When you join, you'll add the unique strengths you bring that aren't captured above.

What We Do

About Maple Maple is a virtual care platform that allows Canadians to see a doctor online within minutes — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients can securely text, audio, or video chat with a Canadian-licensed doctor for diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions. We also offer a wide variety of specialties such as dermatology, endocrinology, and mental health therapy, which can be booked in under 72 hours. Incorporated in 2015, Maple has been operating in Canada since late 2016. We initially launched in Ontario and now offer services in every province and territory of Canada. About our vision Maple is defined by three words — simple, connected, and human. It should be simple to access healthcare. That’s why we created a platform that’s easy to use for Canadians of all ages, abilities, and technology education levels. Healthcare should be connected. We believe that in the future, the majority of wellness and medical care interactions will occur digitally. Our vision is to have Maple be the primary vehicle for healthcare providers to deliver patient care. Maple is on its way to becoming an open-source system to facilitate wellness and care encounters. Maple boasts a streamlined user experience, integrated digital health record keeping, and tools for continuity of care within Canada’s broader healthcare system. The human aspect of medicine should never be forgotten. Our healthcare providers are passionate about what they do, and are dedicated to improving patients’ lives with each virtual care visit. About our team We’re a tightly-knit group of people who are committed to improving the lives of others. We have an ambitious vision, and we’re excited for our team to continue growing.
