Help grow Awaze’s commercial footprint across Germany, Austria and Switzerland by building high-performing travel agency relationships and strategic partnerships that bring our holidays to even more guests.

Your mission

As our new Senior Partnership Account Manager, your mission is to grow Awaze’s commercial footprint across the DACH region through two interconnected areas: developing our travel agency channel and building strategic commercial partnerships.

As you’ll be working directly with travel agencies and partners across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you’ll need to be fluent in German, at native or near-native level, as well as confident communicating professionally in English.

You’ll own and grow relationships with travel agencies across the region, lead agencies through the transition from legacy booking systems to Awaze’s modern platform, and identify new opportunities to expand our network. Alongside this, you’ll develop strategic partnerships from initial prospecting and negotiation through to onboarding and ongoing account development.

Working closely with Marketing, Product, Commercial and leadership teams, you’ll use market insight and performance data to strengthen partner engagement, extend Awaze’s reach and deliver measurable commercial impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and develop relationships with travel agencies across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a particular focus on chains and networks.

  • Lead the end-to-end transition of agencies from legacy booking systems to Awaze’s modern platform, including change management, training and onboarding.

  • Identify, develop and onboard new travel agency partners, maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective agencies.

  • Proactively identify, pursue, negotiate and close new strategic commercial partnerships across the DACH region.

  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach and commercial negotiation through to onboarding and ongoing account development.

  • Monitor agency and partnership performance, using data and commercial metrics to identify opportunities for increased adoption, engagement and growth.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Commercial teams to ensure partners are effectively supported and positioned for success.

  • Identify co-marketing and co-branding opportunities that create mutual value and extend Awaze’s reach and brand presence.

  • Act as a source of DACH market intelligence, sharing relevant trends, partner feedback and commercial insights with leadership and product teams.

  • Travel regularly across the DACH region to build and strengthen relationships with agencies and strategic partners.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a natural relationship builder who enjoys turning commercial opportunities into long-term, mutually valuable partnerships. You’re comfortable taking ownership of a varied portfolio, confident working independently and equally at home discussing performance data, negotiating a new partnership or helping an established agency embrace a new way of working.

Fluent German, at native or near-native level, is an essential requirement for this role. You’ll use German regularly to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with travel agencies and strategic partners across the DACH region.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Several years of experience in account management, partnerships or business development, ideally within travel, hospitality or a related sector.

  • A demonstrable track record of growing accounts and closing partnerships that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Fluent German, at native or near-native level, alongside strong professional English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills, with the credibility to engage agency owners, commercial partners and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence using performance data and commercial metrics to inform decisions and identify opportunities.

  • An understanding of brand and marketing principles and the ability to represent Awaze consistently with external partners.

  • A self-motivated and structured approach, with the ability to independently manage a large and varied account portfolio.

  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as other locations when required.

  • Bonus points if you have experience within the DACH travel agency landscape, legacy travel booking systems or digital platform transitions, or have worked within or alongside a major European travel group.

  • An established network across DACH travel agencies or hospitality chains, or experience with GDS tools and partnership management platforms, would also be an advantage.

How you'll make an impact

  • Successfully transition and onboard travel agencies onto Awaze’s modern platform, driving strong adoption and engagement.

  • Grow the number, quality and performance of active travel agency relationships across the DACH region.

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective agencies and strategic partners, progressing opportunities through to successful commercial agreements.

  • Strengthen retention, satisfaction and commercial performance across your agency and partnership portfolio.

  • Turn performance data into clear insights and recommendations that help both our partners and internal teams make better commercial decisions.

  • Work across Marketing, Product and Commercial teams to unlock partner support, co-marketing opportunities and additional commercial value.

  • Bring relevant DACH market trends, partner feedback and insights into Awaze to help inform product and business decisions.

  • Champion Awaze’s brands and standards across every agency and partner interaction.
