Job Summary
As a Senior OTM Consultant (19889), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Gather business requirements and design end-to-end transportation solutions using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) across modules such as Order Management, Planning, Execution, and Visibility
- Lead and manage implementation work packages, ensuring delivery aligns with project scope, timelines, quality standards, and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and external partners to deliver solution design, workshops, and customer-facing activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities including user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of transport solutions
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5–8 years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementations and support
- Experience delivering at least 3–4 full lifecycle implementations, including experience in Oracle Cloud environments
- Strong functional knowledge of transportation processes including planning, execution, visibility, and freight audit
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Ability to gather requirements, conduct GAP analysis, and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience integrating OTM with external systems and platforms such as HERE, Transporeon, or similar tools
- Strong experience supporting testing activities including test case creation, execution, and user acceptance testing
- Experience working directly with clients, leading workshops, and delivering solution presentations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills in cross-functional and global environments
