Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Organizational Change Management Specialist – AI Transformation to join our team.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an integrated Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy, roadmap, and change plan aligned with AI transformation priorities, program milestones, dependencies, and desired business outcomes;
  • Assess organizational readiness and evaluate change impacts across roles, teams, processes, technologies, and ways of working, translating findings into targeted actions;
  • Advise sponsors and leaders on workforce implications, resistance management, responsible AI use, psychological safety, and the leadership behaviors required to support successful adoption;
  • Create clear and compelling communications, engagement strategies, and change narratives that explain transformation objectives, impacts, and expected behaviors;
  • Design and implement approaches that drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and new ways of working, including role-based training, manager enablement, champion networks, pilot initiatives, and reinforcement strategies;
  • Collaborate with key business units, teams, and stakeholders to support change management activities and make responsible AI requirements understandable and actionable for employees and leaders;
  • Define adoption, readiness, capability-building, and value realization metrics, and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement;
  • Develop reusable playbooks, frameworks, templates, toolkits, and knowledge transfer materials to strengthen Information Technology Services (ITS) change management capabilities and support the sustained adoption of AI initiatives;
  • Perform any other related activities or deliverables as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, or Behavioral Science;
  • Certification in a recognized Organizational Change Management methodology, such as Prosci ADKAR, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or an equivalent Organizational Change Management certification;
  • Eligible to obtain the following security clearance: Reliability Status, which requires a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable personal history;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated experience providing Organizational Change Management (OCM) services supporting complex, enterprise-wide technology, digital, operational, or Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation initiatives;
  • Demonstrated experience leading the Organizational Change Management workstream for at least one (1) enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Generative AI transformation initiative through multiple lifecycle phases, including strategy, discovery, pilot, deployment, scaling, and sustained adoption;
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing change management strategies, roadmaps, organizational readiness assessments, change impact assessments, and adoption plans for large-scale transformation initiatives;
  • Demonstrated experience advising executive sponsors, senior leaders, and multidisciplinary teams on organizational change, stakeholder engagement, workforce impacts, resistance management, communications, and adoption activities;
  • Demonstrated experience defining adoption and value realization metrics, as well as developing reusable frameworks, playbooks, toolkits, learning assets, and knowledge transfer materials that support the long-term strengthening of organizational capabilities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Organizational Change Management methodologies, principles, and leading practices applicable to large-scale technology and Artificial Intelligence transformation initiatives;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI adoption considerations, including impacts on workflows, operating models, workforce capabilities, and ways of working;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Responsible AI principles, including human oversight, transparency, accountability, privacy, security, output validation, and appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence technologies;
  • Excellent English communication skills. English is required, as the position is based in Ottawa.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, or Behavioral Science
  • Certification in a recognized Organizational Change Management methodology, such as Prosci ADKAR, CCMP, or equivalent
