Senior Oracle Netsuite Developer

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom NetSuite scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1) and workflows.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, document, and develop solutions across NetSuite and other integrated SaaS platforms.
• Customize NetSuite forms, fields, records, dashboards, and saved searches.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance of the NetSuite platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data flows, and process maps.
• Participate in full-cycle implementation projects including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Support change management and release processes for NetSuite and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and SOX standards across all financial systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong functional understanding of NetSuite modules.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
• Proficient in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteCloud.
• Experience with SuiteAnalytics, Saved Searches, and Dashboards.
• Proven expertise in integrating SaaS platforms via REST/SOAP web services.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and API (REST/SOAP).
• Skilled in documenting and mapping business processes and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Macros, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience, including development, customization, system configuration, third-party integrations, and data migration.
• Must have completed at least 10 full-cycle NetSuite technical implementation projects.
• Strong security and confidentiality practices for systems handling sensitive data.
• Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting role is preferred.
