Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Functional Support

Job Description

You will:

• Provide day to day application support for a variety of clients.
• Utilise your understanding of the Financials business environment: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, fixed assets, reporting and auditing.
• Resolve support issues and add value through delivering fixes and ongoing ways of improving current delivered functionality for the Oracle Financial modules.
• Gather requirements and create documentation for business changes.
• Work with technical consultants to deliver client requirements.
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion.
• Assist with transitioning clients into support post implementation projects and from competitors.
• Identify persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes.
• Provide end user application and functionality training.
• Create test plans and coordinating testing with the different stakeholders.
• Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building.
• Help ensure that MS ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling, and management processes.
• Assist with risk management and change management on projects.

You will have:

• Previous experience as an Oracle application support analyst or similar role.
• Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite/EBS implementations and/or upgrades
• (Essential) - Experience of any or all: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Sub Ledger Accounting, iExpenses
• (Desirable) - Experience of any or all: Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier Portal, E-Business Tax, E-Business Suite Projects module
• Experience of translating business requirements and design into functional solutions 
• ITIL process knowledge
• Experience of defect tracking systems, including the extraction of key data for weekly reporting and KPI tracking.
