Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA with DevOps skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Administration and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining large-scale Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security, while also promoting DevOps methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain large-scale Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and promote DevOps methodologies, such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
- Working experience on Terraform, Ansible, Github, Oracle DB.
- Develop and maintain scripts for database management, monitoring, and automation using languages like Python, Perl, or shell scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth database integration and deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nagios, or Grafana.
- Ensure database security and compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Plan and manage database capacity, ensuring adequate resources for growing workloads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database architectures, configurations, and procedures.
Desired Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Administration, including RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell scripts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps practices and tools.
