- Develop and Maintain PL/SQL Code: Write efficient and maintainable PL/SQL code to support application requirements, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Database Design and Optimization: Design and optimize database schema, indexes, and other database objects to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Data Integration: Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the Oracle database.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and tune database performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement solutions to optimize query execution.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, and support system and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered solutions.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing PL/SQL code and database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle database versions (e.g., Oracle 12c, 19c).
- Strong understanding of database concepts, normalization, and data modeling
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle tools and utilities (e.g., SQL*Plus, Oracle SQL Developer, PLSQL Developer).
- Working Knowledge of NoSQL ( Mongo DB ) will be advantageous
