What You'll Do
Seeking a Database Administrator to support Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. The first advantage enterprise applications are using backend oracle,mysql,postgressql,mongo and SQL server databases systems
Responsibilities:
- Candidate should provide the production support during the EST hours primarily Oracle databases and weekend on call support on rotational basis.
- Candidate should have experience on performance tuning, Databases migrations and database upgradation.
- Candidate should have good knowledge on cloud technologies, plsql programing and shell scripting
- Hands on experience on any two database technologies ( Oraccle,Mysql,Postgress,monogo and SQL server)
What You May Need to be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3+ years of IT experience as database administrator ideal fit for Engineer DBA role and 5+ years of IT experience as Database administrator for the role of Senior Engineer DBA
- Good experience in oracle database installation on ASM and RAC.
- Hands on experience on User management, space management, logical backups and Rman backup and recovery
- Hands on experience on trouble shooting production database issues and performance related issues.
- Hands on experience on configuring and managing standby databases.
- Good Knowledge on writing plsql programs and shell scripting for database related tasks.
- Good Knowledge on oracle 12c and 19c database architecture
- Hands on experience on database partition management.
- Hands on experience on any two database technologies
- Candidate should learn and work on multiple database technologies
- Good communication skills
- Good Knowledge on cloud technologies
