We are currently hiring for a "Sr. Oracle APPS DBA" for a 6+ months contract role in Qatar.
Role: Senior Oracle DBA & Apps DBA
Location: Qatar
Language: English
Duration: 6 Months
Experience: 18+ years
Key Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Oracle DBA & Apps DBA with strong experience across OCI, DRCC, and engineered systems (Exadata, Exalogic, ZDLRA, PCA).
- Proficient in Oracle EBS (12.2+), WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, backup & recovery (RMAN, OSB), Data Guard, RAC, ASM.
- Strong in security, auditing, patching (DB PSU, RUP, security fixes), cloning, DR drills, and performance tuning.
- Skilled in managing Oracle Cloud and on-prem environments with high availability and DR solutions.
- Hands-on with OEM 13c, APEX, ECC, storage, capacity planning, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with scripting (Shell/Python), ITSM tools, and providing architecture-level recommendations.
Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
- OCI/EBS certifications preferred
- ITIL Foundation or higher is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, multitasking, and compliance-oriented mindset.
